Remodeling your kitchen can get very expensive. I would know because I hired a few contractors to give me estimates as to how much it would cost to transform my old, dingy kitchen. However, when I saw those estimates, I nearly fainted. I knew it would be pricey, but not that expensive. While I couldn't afford a full-blown remodel, my kitchen was in desperate need of a makeover. Thanks to friends, magazines and home improvement shows, I was able to complete some inexpensive projects that instantly transformed and modernized my kitchen.
